Ayush and Seema's love story began in college. Two years of beautiful friendship, then love. Then Ayush got a job in Canada. Both decided — 'We will try long distance.' Nobody had thought it would last 5 years.
The First Year — When It Felt Manageable
In the first year there were video calls every day — on waking up, before sleeping at night. There was a time zone difference — but they adjusted. When Seema was sleeping in India, Ayush was going to the office. But they never let that connection break.

The Third Year — When It Felt Like It Might Not Work
In the third year there was a very big argument one night. They didn't speak for hours. Seema felt — 'Perhaps this relationship cannot bear this distance.' Ayush called at 2 AM — just to say: 'I am not going anywhere.'
Seema Tripathi (29, Lucknow)"The hardest thing in long distance was not that he was far. The hardest was those moments when I needed him — and he couldn't come. But each time he called and proved that love is bigger than distance."
The End of Year Five — That Airport Moment
After 5 years Ayush came back to India — permanently. Seema was at the airport. They saw each other and simply stood still. 5 years of waiting, 5 years of video calls, 5 years of 'good mornings' and 'good nights' — all of it was in that one moment. Then both cried. And both laughed.

Ayush and Seema married 6 months later. Today they are together in Lucknow. 'Sleeping beside each other every night — it still feels like a miracle,' Seema shares.
