Code of Ethics for Digital Platforms
Honesty, sensitivity, and responsibility define who we are
Last updated: May 2026
Storywaala is a responsible digital platform. We believe stories influence society — therefore we are committed to presenting them with honesty, sensitivity, and ethics. This code of ethics applies to all our writers, editors, and collaborators.
1. Accuracy and Truth
In everything we publish — whether a love story, an artist's biography, or a review — factual accuracy is our top priority.
If an error is found in any content, we correct it promptly and inform our readers.
2. Sensitivity and Respect
Love and relationships are deeply personal subjects. We present them with full sensitivity and respect, free of bias towards any community, caste, religion, or gender.
We do not publish content that hurts the feelings of any individual or group or portrays them in a demeaning manner.
3. Privacy of Real Individuals
When we publish the love story or personal episode of a real person, we fully respect their consent and privacy.
When covering the private life of a public figure, we share only information they have made public themselves or that is in the public interest.
4. Independent and Impartial Editing
Our editorial content is independent of any advertiser, sponsor, or external pressure. Advertised content is always clearly marked as 'Sponsored' or 'Paid Content'.
5. Diversity and Inclusion
We give equal importance to love stories from India's diverse regions, cultures, and languages. Our platform is open to every story that honestly portrays love and human emotions.
We do not discriminate against any story or person on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, caste, religion, or social background.
6. Accountability to Readers
We welcome feedback and criticism from our readers. If any reader has an objection to our content, they may contact us at info@storywaala.in. We will take their concerns seriously.
We want to build a platform every reader can trust — and that trust can only be earned through honesty and responsibility.
